This 2-wire NTC temperature sensor is specially designed for lithium battery packs, energy storage systems, power banks and battery management boards that require reliable thermal monitoring. It features a 50K Ohm nominal resistance at 25°C and a B-value of 3435K, providing good sensitivity in the temperature range where battery safety protection is most critical. The copper sensing head offers excellent thermal conductivity, enabling the sensor to detect temperature changes quickly and accurately.
The IP65 dustproof structure protects the sensing element from dust, debris and splashing water, which is important for battery modules that operate in industrial, commercial and outdoor environments. The 2-wire connection simplifies installation and reduces wiring complexity inside the battery pack. It can be attached to the cell surface, busbar, terminal block or housing to monitor local temperature.
Overcharge, over-discharge and high-current operation can cause lithium batteries to heat up. This sensor provides real-time temperature data to the BMS, helping the system trigger fan cooling, reduce charging current or shut down the circuit when necessary. Custom cable lengths and terminal connectors are available to match different module sizes and assembly requirements.
